Backup Power (Cage containment and fuel yard).

At Holly Data Center we want to make sure you always have power. Not only do we have A and B power delivered on separate independent fused and switched grids, and solar power options but we also have our own extended service Generator. At an average burn rate of 5 gallons an hour we have over 300 hours or 12.5 days of fuel on site.  Our generator equipment is automatically tested and the generator is exercised 2 hours every week.

Automated Generator test controls and fuel logging system. When on Generator power our Solar power system is automatically disengaged. This is because the solar system requires a line utility load to stabilize operations and demand 100% of the power generated by the solar panels. For this reason and to prevent back-feed accidents it is disengaged when the transfer switches operate.
